Chris O. Loves Hair

Laura came in as a new client who had picked up one of the Barber Lounge cards at the Peet’s Coffee around the corner. She had an a-line bob with a subtle shape that was grown out in the back. She was holding a folded piece of paper in her hand that turned out to be a quick sketch she’d done of the haircut she wanted! I nearly died of adorableness at both the drawing and her - she’s an artist and video game designer and totally sweet and cool. I think I did a pretty good job of nailing the cut she drew and her hair laid as smooth as silk without a lick of product. I had her sign the drawing and I’m gonna put it in a little frame. This cut really challenged my precision and shaping work and I felt I rose to the challenge and really loved doing it.
